Little Explorers
Does your little explorer thrive through hands-on learning, imagination, and process art? At CDT, our immersive art studio is a haven for young minds to flourish. Guided by the belief that kids are the drivers of their learning, our unique approach ensures engaging and retained lessons. Step into a world like no other, where vibrant artistry meets family connection. Process art is great for all ages, especially young children. The final result of the art is not the priority but rather the experience. This allows children the freedom to create and experiment. The learning is focused on the technique and unique thinking rather than perfecting a final piece.

Studio Artists
This ongoing class meets once a week for 90 minutes and elementary school aged artists will be guided through a project of the week. A variety of projects will teach young artists various art techniques, vocabulary and personal enjoyment.

Spring Art Camp
Children’s Dance Theater is proud to offer terrific spring break camps that are sure to entertain and inspire your child. Each week has a morning and an afternoon session. Campers may register for either a half day option or enroll in both sessions to have a full day camp option. Each session includes small group classes that incorporate the weeks' theme. There are also fun games and various age-appropriate projects that will keep the mind active!
Spring Art Camp
Dates: April 8th-12th Time: 9AM-12PM & 1-4PM
Location: Auburn
Keep your creative hands busy in the morning during Spring Break at our super-fun art camp! In this special art camp, kids can learn how to shape, mold, and decorate clay sculptures using different techniques and tools.
In the afternoon session, they can also explore the world of fiber arts, such as weaving, sewing, and pom poms. They can create their own unique projects using colorful yarns, fabrics, and other materials.
Additional Information
Our art camps are held Monday-Friday with morning, afternoon and full day sessions available. The morning session is from 9am-12pm and the afternoon session is 1-4pm. For campers enrolling in a full-day session, they will join our "Lunch Bunch" crew, where they will enjoy lunch with their friends while being supervised by staff.
We are not able to provide early drop off or late pick up for the spring break art camp.
Ages: This camp is for elementary grades 1st-5th.
Cost: Each session (AM or PM) costs $175 per camp. Full Balance Due at the time of registration. No refunds/credits or transfers.
Full Day Special: Save $50 per week if you register for the full-day option (AM and PM sessions), bringing your camp total to just $300!
Drop Ins: Can't stay for the whole week? No problem! Limited drop-in spots are available at $45 for a half day session, or $90 for the full day.

My Sparkle Era & Wednesday
Dates: July 22nd-26th Time: 9AM-12PM & 1-4PM

Morning Session: Drop everything now because this iconic Art camp is SPARKLING! If you love to paint, draw, sing (karaoke) and craft with your Swiftie besties, you will have a blast shaking it off as you launch into an era of fearless fun and fame! The glitter and glam will be off the charts, and will never go out of style!
From sparkling to stoic, the afternoon art camp takes a kid friendly turn to all things Wednesday Addams. Embrace your creepy and kooky side with projects inspired from the hit TV show. Artists will make gothicaly glam projects but also solve mysteries, just like the inquisitive Wednesday.

Drop Ins: Can't stay for the whole week? No problem! Limited drop-in spots are available at $45 for a half day session, or $90 for the full day. Drop in dates will be made available for scheduling on June 21st, 2024.
