Tuition & Fees

Outlined below is tuition information for each program for the upcoming season. If you are registering multiple children or will need 4 or more costumes be sure to read our discount section at the bottom.

We are proud to work with families and do what we can to help our dance family while running a financially sound business.

General Policies:
  • Once classes have begun, all tuition is non-refundable.

  • CDT accepts Visa and Mastercard auto payments on either the 1st or the 15th of the month.

  • Checks are not accepted.

  • Children’s Dance Theater will begin collection procedures on any overdue account.

  • If you need to withdraw for ANY reason, we require written 30 days notice. Withdrawal forms are at the office and must be filled out in person. Email and phone withdrawals will not be accepted. Tuition will be processed until we are notified. CDT will not provide refunds due to late withdrawal notice. We require the written notification so that we can better understand how to improve our services. Many of our classes have waiting lists and we can fill your spot.

  • Accounts with outstanding balances will not be allowed to register.

  • Students admitted after classes have begun will pay a pro-rated amount.

  • Students enrolling after September in the Children's and School Divisions will need to make payment arrangements to catch up on the costume allocation.

  • Trial classes are available for $20 These are scheduled through our parent portal.

  • Select classes are available for drop-in fees. Meaning a client can pay for just one class at a recurring rate. These are typically technique only classes. Please inquire to learn more.

Registration Fees:

In order to register for the dance or art classes, a non-refundable fee of $30 per student or $45 per family is required per season at the time of registration.

The Arabesque Academy's registration is $100 and includes the programs branded leotard.

The Sampler Series & Special Events do not require a registration fee.

The Sampler Series:

These participants pay $180 per session for the entire 6-week course. That is $30 per class, per dancer. There is not a discount for multiple dancers or classes. This fee must be paid in full at the time of enrollment. There is not a registration fee for the Sampler Series

Special Events:

Throughout the year we have various date specific events such as workshops, lectures, parent night out events. Information and prices for these events are listed on the special event page. These events require an additional sign up to your child's regular classes and many are open to the general public.

The Children's & School Division:

Managing a family's budget is tough work, so we have revamped our tuition model so that you can expect the same monthly tuition all year. You will no longer see recital costume or tight fees assessed to your account in February and March. Just the same amount, so it's easier on your pocket book.

Ten-month costume-inclusive tuition package includes:

  • One costume per class for the June Recital. If you are not able to make the performance your child will still receive a costume

  • 1-2 pair of tights (as needed) for your costume (limit 1 per color needed)

  • A costumer for your child who will do measurements, sizing, and ordering

  • Participation in our in-studio dress rehearsal with dance friends for performing & non performing dancers.

If you are enrolling later in the year to the Children's or School Division, you will need to make up the previous month’s costumes allocation. This is can be done in 1 lump sum at the time of registration. ($10 per mo./per dancer) or we can divide the total amount out over the remaining months of the school year. Thank you in advance for your understanding. If needed other payment plans can be arranged on an individual basis.

In order to receive your costume, you must commit to the full ten-month season. Any dancer needing to withdraw for any reason before the season ends may elect to forfeit the costume. If the withdrawal happens after costumes have been ordered (with the Manufacturer) the remaining balance of the costume will be due upon withdraw in one lump sum. Every effort will be made to cancel the order; however, this isn’t always possible. The previous payments will be forfeited, however the remaining balance will not be due. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Single class rates for 2023-2024:

30 minutes a week $65 per month (no costume)
45 minutes a week $80 per month (1 costume included)
60 minutes a week $90 per month (1 costume included)
90 minutes a week $110 per month (1 costume included)

Discounted multi class/dancer rates for 2023-2024:

60 minutes a week $90per month (1 costume included)
90 minutes a week $120 per month ( 2 costumes included)
2 hours a week       $145 per month (2 costumes included)
3 hours a week       $175 per month (3 costumes included)
4 hours a week       $210 per month (4 costumes included)

The Conservatory Program for 2023-2024:

Preliminary level: $145 per month (2 costumes included)
Level 1: $155 per month (2 costumes included)
Level 2: $210 per month (3 costume included)
Level 3:  $278 per month (3 costumes included)
Level 4: $338 per month (3 costumes included)
Level 5: $363 per month (3 costumes included)
Level 6: $388 per month (4 costumes included)

The Arabesque Academy:

Our Preschool Program is a combination of dance lessons and preschool in one place and with one payment. Tuition is based on how many days your preschooler attends our program.

Current Prices:

2 days a week program is $210 per month
3 days a week program is $295 per month
Optional Monday is a $75 add on.

The Theater Program:

Tuition for the Theater Programs are as follows:

Productions:

Nonrefundable deposit $75 due at the time of registration
Tuition of $225 is due 7 days before rehearsals begin.

Performance held in our black box theater space are free of charge, however seating is limited.  Performances held at a proscenium theater require a ticket purchase.

Present a Scene:

Nonrefundable deposit $25 due at registration

Tuition of $100 is due 7 days before rehearsals begin

The Creative Arts Program:

The creative art program is an ongoing weekly class. The monthly fee covers all the supplies needed each weekly class. The standard registration fee applies to new clients. The art program requires the same 30 days withdraw notice if you need to discontinue lessons for any reason.

Little explore:  $50 per month

Studio Artist Class: $75 per month

Discounts:

Annual Payments:

There is a 10% discount for anyone wishing to make an annual payment for their tuition to any of our 10 month programs: Arabesque Academy, the Children's, School or Conservatory Divisions.  Annual payment arrangements & payments must be made by the end of September to receive the discount. Annual payments are non-refundable. If you choose to withdraw, all tuition prepaid is forfeited.

Costumes may also be paid for annually if desired however they are not eligible for a discount.

Multiple Children/Classes:

Our tuition remains a sliding scale, so the more classes or children you enroll there is a built-in discount per class. For example, a single dancer enrolling in an hour long class pays $90 for the tuition & costume. If you enroll in another hour long, bringing your weekly hours to 2 hours you will pay $145 per month versus $180. The more hours or children you enroll, the more the discount increases. The discount is applied to the tuition only, see below for costume discounts. Keep in mind that those prices INCLUDE your June costumes.

Your dancer/family can take as many styles of dance as they want. Please inquire for more specific

pricing information.

Costumes:

The Costume allocation is roughly $10 per dancer/per class each month. In the event that your family needs 4 or more costumes you will also receive a 10% multi costume discount.
