Private Lessons & Consultations
Private lessons are intended to help students get more personal attention to increase skills they may be struggling with and/or to work on a routine for a competition, audition or other event. They should not be used as a way to replace their weekly technique classes. Non-CDT students can be eligible for private lessons on a case-by-case basis. All bookings will be conscientious of the great dance community if dancers from other studios book with CDT. Private lessons may be booked on a recurring or on a “special” date basis.
Consultations refer to any meeting requested by a parent to discuss their students' learning. This can range from a discussion about a solo, questions about promotions or any other situation that is affecting their dancer.
These meetings must have the staff member in question and then a facilitator/observer. The facilitator/observer must be a salaried staff member. Consultations follow the same procedures and policies as private lessons. If a facilitator/Observer is not available, meetings will be recorded. via google meet.
