School Division
The School Division is for students 8 and older who want to give dance class a try and have little-to-no experience, or are not ready for the rigorous Conservatory Program. Novice dancers aged 8 and up will experience beginning-level classes, while students with more dance experience continue to challenge themselves in our intermediate-level classes. The dancers in the School Division get to shine on stage and show off their new skills in our annual June Recital.
Ballet
Ballet is the backbone of technique at our studio. Even if you don’t intend on becoming a professional ballet dancer, the skills you learn in this class will make you stronger, more elegant, and give you a wonderful basis for any other dance styles you want to learn! Ballet technique develops proper alignment and strength. Every class begins with barre work, emphasizing posture, rotation, and beautiful footwork. In the center, dancers work on adagio, pirouettes and petite and grand allegro combinations to cultivate grace and fluidity.

Jazz
Jazz dance really mixes it up! It combines many other kinds of dance, with the strength and poise of ballet, the explosive moves of Hip Hop and the fun dance style of other modern dances. We set our choreography to fun modern pop music, and teach dancers everything from impressive jumps to sharp, clean movement. It takes strength to do that well, which is why the first half of the class consists of exercises to stretch and tone muscles, and learn proper body alignment. Then in the second half it’ll be time to learn jazz choreography!
Tap
Has your dancer always wanted to try tap dance, but is too old for the little kid classes? This is the perfect class to learn introductory tap dance steps with other dancers of a similar age and skill-level.
Dancers with tap experience can schedule a Trial Class for placement.

Hip Hop
Hip hop is a popular dance style for beginning dancers who are looking to learn some cool new dance steps. They will learn rhythm, coordination, and a little bit of swag all

Acro
This class is perfect for those who are interested in tumbling skills such as flips, rolls and more but have little-to-no experience. Learn safe, fun and exciting new skills from a certified instructor.

Adult Classes
Dance classes for adults! Don't let our name fool you, we are not just a space for kiddos. Whether you want to rekindle your love of dance, or try something new, we are here for you. We have an adult ballet class that meets once a week. Sign up for the season or schedule a drop-in, either way we're happy to have you.
